The people of Oslo donate the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square every year to the people of London to show gratitude for their assistance during World War II.
FIRST COMMERCIAL CHRISTMAS CARDS
The civil servant, Sir Henry Cole, commissioned the first commercial Christmas cards, in 1843. They featured a family drinking wine and, in 2014, one sold for £8,469.
WORLD’S LARGEST CHRISTMAS STOCKING
106 feet and 9 inches (32.56 meters) long and 49 feet and 1 inch (14.97 meters) wide are the dimensions of the world's largest Christmas stocking. It is the equivalent of five reindeer in weight and held nearly 1000 presents. Children’s Society in London created it in 2007.1

The tallest Christmas tree ever cut displayed at the Northgate Shopping Center in Seattle, Washington in 1950 was 221-foot and unsurprisingly, it holds the Guinness World Record.2
